Worst Boss Fight in a Game

Shub in Quake- just because it was a ridiculous mental leap to figure out how to do it, unless you'd deathmatched or otherwise seen a telefrag before.

Every boss in every Crash Bandicoot game ever

I thought Ryan in Bioshock was pretty good, as far as I'm concerned the game ended there so he counts as an end of game boss:D

Oh, Darth Whotsit in KOTOR. What a tedious grind. Heal, heal, attack, forever.

God of War. After so many incredible, amazing fights, boss and otherwise, you are reduced to a cheap one on one with none of your magic and skills and just a crap stumpy sword with which to defeat a super-cheap boss. Crap.

Shazzrah in World of Warcraft.

The good old Molten Core days when things werent too complicated and you could have some casual raiding fun on a huge scale. Shazzrah was the one boss i didn't enjoy mainly because people thought he was too easy and we always wiped the first time for the first few months of downing him, was really not that hard a boss to do but the fact my guild were terrible at controlling agro made it a terrible boss.

Worst boss and worst ending - FEAR.

Totally rubbish.

You have a great point. I can't even remember it! All I do remember is:

Dark Corridor > Baddies > Bullet Time > Dark Room > Baddies > Bullet Time > Scary stuff > Dark Corridor > Baddies > Bullet Time > and so on!

It was easily the worst for me, and by some margin.

It was that Paxton Fettel bloke who was using mind control over all the cloned soldiers.

I was convinced he'd be mutated/surrounded by some evil entity/possesed etc, but alas no, just a single shot to the head whilst he knelt down was all it took.

Stop using **** tanks ;)

:p

To be fair it didn't happen that often. Our MT was pretty good. One of our OT's though was a complete plank and constantly stuffed up phase 2.

Thought of another one, Leotheras in SSC. Not because of the fight, but due to how every player turned into a headless chicken at 15% and wiped the raid. :p

Ultimecia in FF8. I mean...what? What!? The fight itself was good with the whole whirling through time thing, but damn, they must've just ran out of time and dropped in a rnadom monster.

Also, best boss ever...Safer Sephiroth, FF7.

Don't know if this counts but...

Killing the Prince's father in PoP:SoT as you have to defend that bloody stupid woman. You're already busy trying to fight the boss and all the other monsters, but then you have to try and defend that woman who doesn't know how to keep her distance from the monsters when using her bow.

dead space - the end boss, or.. the mission to going to the last boss anyway, it was just pure grind.. and boring the hell out of me dragging the marker to the alien hell hole

That shambles of an end boss on Uncharted: Drakes fortune. What an immersion killing piece of tripe that was with his 100% accuracy insta snipes. Brought down an otherwise good game for me.
