Metal Gear Solid 4 Xbox 360

Don't think Microsoft would care too much about the sony product placement, afterall in the Uefa Champions League game there were massive "Playstation" advertising boards.

Metal Gear Solid is one of the few games that feels wrong when using anything other than a PS controller, I welcomed the news of the next FF coming to the 360 - not too sure about this one though.

Depending on the size of the price drop and if I still have a job I think I'll be getting MGS4 on the PS3!

It just doesnt look close enough to 360 imo. Its not the right shade + the power logo if registered infringes copyright as it looks nothing like it! The ! too me represents Acid totally!

i = iphone

! = acid

t= possibly touch

and the power symbol would suggest that metal gear solid acid for iphone is on

Hangon, "Metal Gear Acid Touch" sounds sensible enough, but Metal Gear Solid Touch doesn't. I know it's reading a lot into what boils down to a few characters but all existing Acid titles to date have had the "Acid" part as a substitute for Solid.

MGST, what the hell could that be?!

This was taken off the gaf, aint sure on source though tbh:

I too am dubious of that news; if they were going to remake the first 3 i imagine they'll be using the MGS4 engine. Now, what makes me dubious is the fact that they say it's only for the xbox 360, since the engine already works on the PS3 and many people bought a PS3 for MGS4 surely it would be logical to release it on that too?

If this is a money making stunt then it's a pretty poorly planned one, a large portion of die-hard MGS fans (myself included) purchased a PS3 partly because of MGS4, they would be missing out on a heck of a lot of sales by limiting it to a different platform. If they were to release it on the PS3 i would certainly buy it, but to buy a whole new console to replay games i've already played (albeit with improvements)? Ah heck who am i kidding, this would be the title that would finally allow me to completely justify myself purchasing a 360 so i would buy one, but still, strange decision if it's true.

Another thing that makes me slightly skeptical is the fact that they already did MGS2 on Xbox. Did they do MGS too?

They would get a guaranteed minimum price from MS though, probably worth more than if every ps3 owner bought a copy. :eek:

No, but the gamcube got a remake.
