Nice sell. I find that Berba took a while to settle in. So did Tevez who was already the club. Nice coding there by SI Games. A player, theoretically still on loan, taking 6 months to settle in at a club he's already been at for a season or two. :D

Not too bad for Huntelaar but everyones average rating should really be 7+ when playing at Utd. Berbatov had 7.05 second season for me and I thought he was playing pretty badly, his rating in my first season was 7.53. Seems to be a bit better so far this season though, 7.27 and 4 goals from 6 games.

My only truely consistent player that always plays well, scores and gets plenty of assists is Ronaldo.

Right, decided to sign some long term players.

Signed in transfer window;

Deco - backup (£300k)
Samuele Nicoletti - prospect (£400k)
M Hazard - prospect (£free)
Renato Augusto - rotation/future (£free)
Eden Hazard - rotation/future (£16.5m)
Andres Iniesta - key (£free)
Federico Fazio - key (£9.5m overall)
Jesus Navas - key/rotation (£11m overall)

Coming in January.....

Ignacio Camacho (£24m)
Hatem Ben Arfa (£15m)
Sergio Aguero (£33m)

Expensive! :p

See a lot about Fazio in here. Found him just before the start of the new season, got him in on loan with a view to a 4.3mil buy. Seems like a good piece of business seeing some of the prices on here!

Squad is:
Paul Robinson
Mark Bunn

Federico Fazio (Season loan with 4.3mil clause from Sevilla)
Andre Ooijer
Martin Olsson

Raul Bravo (2.6 mil from Olympiakos)
Ryan Nelsen
Zurab Khizanishvilli
Ryan McGowan (900k from Hearts)

Davide Santon (5mil from Inter)
Brett Emerton
Vicenzo Grella

Tugay
Thiago (300k from Barcelona)
Segio Peter
Fausto Rossi (3.5 mil from Juventus)
Morten Gamst Pedersen
Keith Andrews
David Dunn

Matt Derbyshire
Ched Evans (3.9 mil from Man City)
Roque Santa Cruz
Vaclav Kadlec (1.5 mil Sparta Prague)

Just started my second season and due to injuries to a couple of players i'm not able to send out a full strength team. Hoping I can reach the UEFA cup this season, using this season to allow the youngsters and new signings to blend in and improve. Evans is already looking sharp, played around 100 minutes total so far and scored 2 goals whilst Santon and Rossi are looking like fairly solid signings too. Threw the whole ideal of an English team out the window after I found how stupidly overpriced good players were.

Having a few problems with Bunn too. He's throwing a hissy fit because Robinson is my first choice keeper and is upsetting the team. Thinking of sticking him in the reserves till the transfer window re-opens but i've not got any youth players even close to his skill level.

Problem is i'm dropping points at the minute, drawing three of my opening four games. Hopefully when Cruz and a few other players return from injury it'll pick up again but its getting frustrating :p.

Stunning piece of business. Are you paying a fee for the loan? And presumably all of his wages?

santon has been a great signing for me, picked him up for £7.75m i think in the end but he has come on leaps and bounds,im in the thrid season now and hes improving all the time.

300k and Sevilla are paying most of the wages. Not quite sure how I pulled it off though!

Emertons keeping Santon out of the team at the minute, but hes getting cup games under his belt and the cup team is good enough to see off Championship opposition. Can always make some crafty subs to turn games against Premiership teams around too.

Edit: I pay just over 10% of his wages. £1800 per month.

What are his wages and how long is he on loan for? Want to work out if you are saving money. :p

Got him for the season. He's currently on 14,000 per week with Sevilla and as mentioned in the edit, i'm paying 1,800 of that every week for the duration. Transfer screen is here.

Edit: Bloomin eck. Blame it on my being tired. Sevilla are paying 1,800 per week. I'm paying just over 12k a week! Knew the deal wasn't that good to be true!

Been pretty average for me. Takes the penalties for me and has a pretty good conversion rate. Rubbish at free kicks. I know he'll not score when we get one.

Haha, yes he is useless at free kicks in the game but for me he gets plenty of goals and assists from normal play and always scores his penalties (1st season 25 goals 14 assists, second season 27 goals 7 assists, third season 4 goals 2 assists in 7 games). And after a poor second season Berbatov seems to be performing well again :D just played Chelsea away, won 4-1 and Berb got a hattrick - now after 7 games 7.57 rating, 7 goals.

Haha, well you wont be disappointed getting him anyway!

Lol. :D Ah well.

Doesn't really get goals from open play either. The odd one or two yes but mainly penalties. :( Need to work him out.

I got him for the princely some of £12million !

he is officially awesome as well btw :p

Jesus christ

I think this game just took a year off my life

It was all the more gut-wrenching because we absolutely battered them through the whole 120 minutes of normal and extra time but just couldn't put the ball in the net, in the end needing that 90+3 goal just to stay in it. I'd resigned myself to losing this one when we got to 90 minutes at 1-0 down, then again when we initially went behind on penalties, then again when my regen striker missed penalty #8, and yet somehow we came up with the win.

We got the nastiest ever UEFA Cup draws to get here as well, knocking out AC Milan, Valencia and Barcelona on the way to the final. We've sweated blood for that trophy and I think we can definitely say we earned it!

thats why this game makes you smile when things like that happen :p

er i think i may have cracked the tactics on this as in season 3 with aformentioned squad I have played 28 games, scored 70 and conceded only 5 times

my PL record is

played 15, won 13, drawn 2, For 33 against 1 !!!

really enjoying this game now :p

oh an ronaldinho update.

Played 14, scored 12, Assists 9, MOM 7 and 7.85 :p
