A lack of first team squad members? WTF? So what are the likes of Cesc, Gallas, Toure, Sagna, RvP, Ade....
I very much doubt Hoyte was on anything like 20k a week for 5 years, I'd doubt he'd be on anything like that figure apart from maybe his last year at the club. Heck I'd suggest we made a profit on him considering he was sold for £3m.
You do realise players like Randall would have been on £60 a week at the age of 16. That's all Wilshere gets.
The likes of Ramsey didn't move for money, he moved to play football. Plenty of other Arsenal youths play in other games other than the league cup.
Again I guess you know more that Martin Keown who has work with said 'woeful' player...
I just don't get why your and Arsenal 'Fan'
I do wonder if any of the other fans can read at all. Lack of, in no way at all means none whatsoever, is that hard to understand? For instance, look at whose starting now, Song and Denilson at Man U would never ever play in the first team, hence, not first team players. Look at Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, you have Babel, Benayon, Alonso, did have Risse, Crouch, etc, etc as backup. OTher than in the past couple of years having a few spare strikers other than a first 11 we have a very slim "first team" squad compared to the other top 4, so why is our wage bill higher than Man U's and Liverpool's. For instance, Benny, Babel, Alonso will be on huge wages, Risse was on 90k a week apparently, they give out stupid wages and yet Arsenal, with youth unestablished non famous players and Henry did in the end just break 100k a week? Fabregas is apparently on 69k, Ade only just made 80, on 40k last year and I believe less than that the year before. So please explain to me if we're not paying our youth players where the wages are going?
As for Randall, look at him, his past several games were awful, he can't keep the ball he got infront of the goal scorer and simply forgot to clear the ball leading to Burnley's second goal. he's a good attacking midfielder, he was better against smaller players, hasn't developed very well size wise and might never, but as a defensive midfielder that he's being forced into he's crap. denilson is a pretty fantastic attacking midfielder, he's a woeful defensive midfielder, you don't have to be good at both.
Hoyte would have been on a fairly decent wage, at 3million its highly unlikely we made profit on him.
Again as in other thread, please give me the massive long list of those players who played in the worthless cup over the past 4 years, who are now estabilished at Arsenal. Bendtner barely gets a game, and when he scores he gets dropped the game after doing his confidence the world of good. Song, played more on loan than at arsenal and is only in the team due to very very small first team squad. Hoyte, Randall, Lansbury got/get a game every 4 months then nothing. We've got almost zero youth players playing at Arsenal who were trained extensively at Arsenal and I don't see why anyone can believe otherwise.
Again I'll ask, where is our 2nd highest wage bill in the prem from exactly, if we're payign youth players £60 a week, and Fabregas, our best player is on 60k, Ade is now on 80k, wheres it going? Pool, Chelsea, Man u have far more estabilished high wage players that actually get more than 5 games a year in the first team, so how the hell are we paying more money.
