Re Three Leaf Clover...
It is tough took me about three go's on the PS3, not reached it yet on the PC.
AFAIR and without the Brady guide in front of me the two key things are:
1. Keep moving.
2. Only target the cops identified with a red blob on the radar, possibly over their heads.
A couple of the cellars along the route have health and armour icons.
Watch out for the moving trains in the subway as they will splat you.
There's health in the side passage of the subway where you exit. Get up the stairs quickly, before the cops come through the gate.
I actually got to this stage on my first PS3 attempt but got killed trying to find a getaway vehicle.
If you can do "Snowstorm" (which I think comes before 3LC) then 3LC is definitely easier as Snowstorm was a real step up from the difficulty on previous missions.

I lower the settings during gameplay but it reverts back to the default settings the next time I start up the game.

I was probably getting maybe 22-25fps during the first 10 mins. Really do hope it's a memory leak issue like you say and that the patch will fix it.
