I always tell my missus, keep everything in your pockets. Use your bag for things like makeup and tissues, that way if someone tries to take it your only really losing a bag!

Sorry to hear about your mum, its a real shame that people can't carry pepper spray over here! I hope it doesn't effect her too much!

When my ex had her handbag taken from a car she didn't leave her purse in it but she did have close to £100 worth of makeup and some photos she couldn't replace. She would have preferred them to have gotten the purse

Both my brothers have been mugged once and three times respectivly, but that was in rochester/strood/chatham never had any trouble in maidstone, allthough i dont go out at night much these days *shakes fist at empty wallet*
