Grand Theft Auto 4

AFAIK they are fixing the memory leak problem, and nothing else as far as performance goes. That will solve some issues like your fps going down after playing for a long time, but won't increase performance generally.

Hmm, if it doesn't improved it, even just a little bit then ill be very disappointed. We just gotta wait and see.

That would be enough for now, just played for about 2 hours and got the dreaded RECS10 or what ever, I was only using 532mb out of a possible 896mb.

Do you mean your trigger doesn't adjust the speed of cars depending on how far down you hold it? If so then I personally haven't had issues that I've noticed with this, and I'm using a 360 pad too. What drivers are you using for your pad, as I'm using the default ones that are downloaded with Vista when you plug the controller in.

Thats exactly what I mean, it seems to be just on or off for throttle and brake. Using the drivers Vista installs when you plug the adapter in the 1st time. Triggers work fine for other games though.
Its not the end of the world, its just nice to cruise rather then on and off all the time.

Hitting F2 records the last 20-30 seconds of action. You can then view/edit these from the video editor which can be accessed in your mobile phone.

Damn I wish I'd known that!! We live and learn =) I wish steam offered the option to get Rockstar to mail the paper copies of the book and map etc when you get it from them, that would be nice.

By the way, I completed the Three Leaf Clover mission in the end. I was very underwhelmed with the mission and when it ended I thought, is that it? I'd heard a lot of hype about it, but apart from the masses of dialogue from the IRA brigade (who I can't say I enjoy listening to or working with, even in a game) the actual gameplay elements were very basic and boring.

^ can someone remind me where the Ferrari is on the map again? I found it the other day but lost it :(

I remember it being in someone's driveway in a posh area!

Cheers!
