Weekend Soccerball; 13th-14th December - *SPOiLERS*

Yes, time to sack Rafa, what does he think he's playing at getting us to the top of the table, get rid of him now!

Fair enough im turning into the 606 special with that statement, but its so ****ing frustrating, we had the 1st real chance in 10 years to mount a serious title challenge, and we could have pulled clear, but....:(

The starting line-up suggested Rafa was more interested about stopping Hull scoring than allowing us to attack and score ourselves.

Disagree entirely. Had we played 4-4-2 with Keane alongside Kuyt and Gerrard playing CM we'd have lost today. With Torres out injured and our inability to score at home recently, it's just common sense to have Gerrard as far forward as possible as he's the only player that looks like scoring for us.

Keane should have started in place of Benayoun with Kuyt on the right though.

Liverpool's results at home have been pretty average so far, perhaps it's the pressure their fans put them under, whatever it is let's hope it continues:)

!

You're still near the top of the table, regardless of how Chelsea do.

Unless they win tomorrow of course;)

The draws at home are starting to become a major problem now, and it's going to cost Liverpool at this rate. :( Arsenal game has a new air of importance now, and Liverpool iirc don’t have a great recent away record against them.

Because they actually took on the leader fo the EPL and gave them a good match - rather than parking the bus, and went into a deserved 2-0 lead (and wherent given a deserved penalty)

Fully deserved imo , without considering the different resources the clubs have

Another lost opporutinity for Liverpool :(, the advantage we could have had by now if we bagged all those lost points to Stoke, westam, Hull and the others ffs.

To be fair thats the same as Utd and Chelsea (and Arsenal to a lesser extent) could say to them selves too ....against different teams but "easy" points given away

So for the few bad things he's done is his life you've decided to dislike him, everyone makes mistakes lad.

What about all the good things he done? Fantastic loyalty to Liverpool and tons of charity work?

I can fully understand his reasons for quitting England, it's a shame you can't.

No it's not really. It's an observation from the red games I watch.
It's a wrong observation then. You used the incidents in today's game to back up your opinion that we get an obscene amount of decisions our way.

What about all the decisions that go against us? It all evens itself out over the season, everyone knows that.

hey may be wearing a uniform for all you know

I think you meant ill-informed

Its opinion of which the original quote was pretty spot on

I meant uninformed, aside from that you are not worth my time.

Tottenham: Gomes, Corluka, Dawson, Woodgate, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Zokora, Jenas, Bentley, Modric, Pavlyuchenko. Subs: Cesar, Bale, Huddlestone, Bent, Gunter, Boateng, O'Hara.

Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael Da Silva, Ferdinand, Vidic, O'Shea, Park, Fletcher, Carrick, Ronaldo, Berbatov, Tevez. Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Scholes, Evans.

Time for Tevez to shine. We need to take advantage of the other results.

It's got draw written all over it. It's a good thing Liverpool dropped points, i'm almost certain we will.

Yur at the Bridge, so there should be an IF there :)

Would expect you to win anyway but the way this weekend is going.......

Truth hurts huh...... at least try and learn the english language when someone tried to advise you "uninformed" isnt even a word

For most teams yes, it does (though I still want 3 more "goals" for Arsenal if said statement is true). I look forward to the next game between us at Ashburton Grove, I'll no doubt have more examples to cite.

Charming?

As I said, if you haven't got any problems with him, fair enough. It really isn't too much of a stretch for any reasonable mind to see why someone else might think he isn't a top bloke.

I can fully understand his reasons for quitting England, it's a shame you can't.

I'm really not interested in getting into internet arguments, but seriously, his reasons for quitting England were that he was in a strop because he wasn't being picked, and turning his nose up at the shirt when McClaren and then Capello tried to bring him back to the fold was childish at best. "Oh well I understand it shame you don't" means precisely nothing and doesn't even deserve to be called a point of view.
