I was in University today and I left my phone either in the canteen or in my trouser pocket and it slipped out when I was seated. Either way, I was careless and I deserve having to pay for a new one. I called it a few times, but it was switched off. I tried to be optimistic and convinced myself that it either switched itself off when it fell from my pocket and whoever may have found it kept it away before handing it in or that someone picked it up and put it off as they had to go to lectures.
Having just called it, it rang for a few seconds before being cancelled. I called it again, but its new owner has turned it off. It's not a valuable phone, it's only a 500 series Sony Walkman model, so it's not going to get them a lot if they're thinking of selling it. Oh well, my own fault.
I just hope they're not going to have any 'fun' with my contacts etc.
