Ok, the stand really is stiff. I thought I was gonna break that unfolding it. All fine now though. Default brightness is way too high but turned that down. So far so good. No dead pixels.

EDIT: After using it for a bit, I've not noticed any ghosting. So much nicer to look at than a TN, though I've never used an IPS.

Such a good panel sold with such a rubbish stand. The "Big Foot" TM may not look as nice, but it has all the adjustments you could possible ask for and it's not stiff at all. Round one to lp2475 :)

Personally I don't really care about stand adjustments. I'm more after all round performance and image quality. Who cares if the stand is stiff? You've only got to adjust it once! The LP2475 has just got too many issues for me to even consider it.

Talking about the stand... How low can you get it? (desk to bottom of pitcure) Going by the pictures it looks like it's possible to go all the way down?

I like it when my head are about level with the upper edge of the screen (viewing in a slight downward), but it usually means I have to go for the lowest position and still not quite make it on other monitors.

Speaking of the stand, I haven't even managed to tilt mine yet because it's so stiff. Can adjust the height ok though. I can only think it's not meant to tilt but the trustedreviews review suggests otherwise.

Indeed. It goes as far down as it can with the feet in the way, so roughly 1 cm off the desk.

Hmm. Haven't tried tilting yet. Don't think I will either since I'm happy with how it ended up after forcing it open originally.

The price has gone up again?

Unless my eyes deceive me, since the last time I checked it has dropped by £160 and is now in the same realm as mere mortal 24" monitors!

:-o
