NEC LCD24WMGX3 Professional Gaming 24" Widescreen

Mine has arrived, and it's stunning. My stand was easy to tilt/adjust... maybe I'm just more manly :p. No dead pixels from what I can tell so far though which is what I was dreading.

I'll post some pictures up later :)

I don't believe you can tilt it. Do you mean you can just adjust the height which automatically makes it move forwards and backwards?

It can be tilted -10 to +25 degrees, regardless of height placement

The monitor joints may be stiff at the initial tilting and height adjustment. In this case,
hold the top and bottom of the monitor to make the adjustment.
• Do not tilt the monitor greater than 25° while in use, although it is physically possible.
Tilting beyond this degree may cause it to become unstable or cause insufficient
ventilation, resulting in injury or damage to the monitor.

NOTE: The monitor joint becomes stiffer when the tilt angle reaches 25° indicating that this is the
limit for normal use.

Yes you can, mine was quite easy  Not sure what to recommend other than what Sweeney suggested.

It's all in the manual ;). Bit of a read but very clear and specific and shows you just how many functions/options this monitor has.

Got mine set up now, but I think I may have a problem. There is a lot of graininess with areas of colour looking mottled with dark and light flecks.

Was a bit busy, I apologize for my photography skills :(

Anyway, all connected up @ 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. The screen to the right is a Sharpe 15" 1024x768 (one of my old ones  :p)

Mine arrived a couple of days ago but I have only just got home. Had no problems with unpacking or getting the stand into position, now all I have to do is wait until tomorrow for santa to deliver all the other parts of my lovely new pc.

Can't wait to try it, hoping for no dead pixels and it really was a great purchase at the discount price. :)

Is anyone else seeing what I see with mine? For example the gradient between light and dark in the blue bar at the top of the screen isn't smooth. Its a little grainy and a bit like 16 bit colour but not as bad. Also the solid light grey is slightly blotchy with light and dark speckles.

What are you referring to wsh? The pictures above?

Mine is fine. So I'm assuming he is referring to his monitor :(

Yes, my screen. When looking very close up it looks a little like colour banding across gradients seen on the bar at the top of a window. Its very subtle, like little speckles or pixels of dark colour mixed in with lighter pixels.
