that fruit and crisps was a snack, my evening meal was pasta, I had a lot of it.

ah right :)

Even so your weight is very low for your age. As Fothsn said I would have thought you would have felt some physical effects.

But then again do you do a lot during the day - I mean physically demanding stuff ie walking to school, sports etc ?

Because if you are not doing that much physical work your body wont get tierd because you are not using any energy at all.
I find it hard to believe that you dont but worth asking :D

He or she is 4'7" ..take that into consideration.
I've also seen kids like this suddenly grow into man-behemoths, they probably took steroids or something!

You sure? Being your height and weight I would have though you would have some physical effects, I mean 5 stone is not a good weight at all for a 14yr old, as people mention above girls and young boys like 7 are this weight, it is seriously low for you age, you need to see somebody please take the advice and ring the NHS direct line and ask them for advice maybe they will give you some info to see somebody who can help you.

no, I feel fine, I don't think it's as bad as people make out, firstly:
I'm quite short (around 5ft 3 I think)
I am skinny but that's because I have little fat, I have a bit more muscle now, than I did last year, but less fat.
I am starting to gain weight quickly, half a stone in two months :D

All girls seem to go though that phase, at that age.

I'm a boy ;)

I'm not taking the mick or being funny if it comes across that way :D All you can do is keep eating and look after your body, just feel you need some help in the right direction NHS direct and people like these are totally confidential so don’t feel scared or worried they are only there to offer advice :)

Half a stone in a couple of months is good so you are on the right track :)

don't do it that often anymore, was mostly to build up stamina.

Mate, seriously.

Look how many people have told you that your weight at this age and height is UNHEALTHY and how many people have told you to go to a nutritionist?

We're not trying to do anything against your vegetarianism but LISTEN TO WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING.

Seriously dude... Its basically the forum vs you.

quoted for truth!

I think this thread is really turning too medical for the forum. Seek medical advice from your GP. You are worryingly underweight and your Doctor should be able to help you.
