Then you have friends that are potential rapist hope you are doing your best to supply the police with the information and find out what friends where at the party, blood could be on your hands if you don't.

I have been to many house parties and never seen a spiking, it must be a reet **** hole.

Does nobody read threads?
Daughter goes to her cousins for a party.
There are at least 15 people there she doesn't know.
She walks out because she isn't feeling too good.
She phones a taxi but decides to start walking.
I eventually find her about half a mile away lying on the dual carriageway.
I have no friends there except two Nephews, another daughter, two sister in laws and their husbands.

How exactly are the police going to investigate this?
Nobody has been attacked or raped.
You are making a very serious allegation that somebody had the intention of raping her when they might have been having a laugh.
Do you think they are going to round everybody up from the party and interrogate them until someone confesses?
Do you think as a Dad I should do the same thing?
 
I agree with Dave on his actions, there's nothing you can do but be supportive and try to ensure your daughters are with friends when they go out. The police will do very little in this instance.

I live a few streets away, this area is not in any way a **** hole, its very very quiet.

Why would an area have to be a **** hole for one individual attending the house party (who's not necessarily even from the area) to have bad intentions?

dmpoole - hope she's OK mate, all the best. That is a real feat that she wasn't ran over.
 
Well, everybody makes mistakes, hopefully your daughter will learn from this deadly one, and something like this will never happen again.

Someone having a laugh? You must have a very odd sense of humour.

I have a 21 year old daughter, and I'll tell you one thing for certain - dad to dad, that I would do everything in my power to find out who did it, and make sure that they would think twice about ever doing it again. Seriously. And before anyone suggests it, I'm in no way a keyboard warrior.

Glad she's OK, and that nothing happened to her. That's the main thing.

The area isn't a **** hole thank you, next time read the thread and take on board the information before posting such dribble.
 
Christ Dave that's very lucky indeed finding her relatively unhurt on a dual carriage way in Stoke, A50 is pretty busy late at night with lorries.

There are some very sick people about to want to do this kinda thing, they need a good kicking.

Thats really bad but good news to hear you found her OK. I know that stretch of road very well. I have worked that the huuuge S building right behind it for 6 years. In that time I have known of two colleagues having accidents right where your 'B' marker is. One had his car wrote off and the other was killed. these were both just after finishing work at 2pm.

The only thing I can think of suggesting is to take her back to where you found her and walk with her back to where the party was just to see if anything triggers her memory? I take it she walked past the plough from your map.
 
wow, i'm glad shes OK i hope whoever did this will be jailed, it sickens me that there are people that would do this. if it was a family party maybe you could contact them and ask if they knew any of the lads that did this.

She has been lucky,

My mate got ran over 3 weeks ago after stepping out a taxi to be sick even though he had very little to drink that night,

He stepped out the wrong side of the taxi into the middle of the road and continued to be sick as another taxi came round the corner on a dark road and didnt see him (not that taxi drivers fault) and my mate was hit head on at 50.

At the time I was thinking of the worst but he came round and got away with just a broken femur.

He is recovering now and is eager to get back out :rolleyes:

you would be wildly naive to think that it was someone having a laugh.

major child scare? i was expecting something about an under 10 year old. not a 21 year old at a party with random people coupled with drink and drugs.
 
10 or 21 its still his child :/

you must be naive thinking that there arent sick people out there who do get a laugh and a kick out of seeing someone suffer from been spiked.

could even of been that whoever did it was taking drugs themselves and knew she would have refused so did it out of spite

He's her Dad, she's his child. I fail to see where you can go wrong in your understanding of that concept. Also, two bottles of WKD at a Family party is hardly a drink and drug fuelled party with random people is it?
