just received my Hyundai N240Wd 24" monitor but it doesn't work via dvii..

when i had the problem i contacted them by phone and i explained to the woman that the dvi port isn't working and she said it sounds like a fault with the monitor and i told her i contacted the eretail first and they told me it'll cost about £20 to send it back to the eretail and she said thats silly!!! don't do it, our pickup and deliver service it free. then she looked on her system and said theres 1 in stock and they'll replace it but i must email her the poof of purchase with the ref number that she gave me first so i did then afew hours later she called back saying she as done that and they'll pick up the faulty monitor and leave the new one. which they did...

awww lucky! maybe i will ring them and see what they have to say about it

THEY WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME A REPLACEMENT IF I HAD REPORTED WITHING THE FIRST SEVEN DAYS OF PURCHASE BUT SINCE I PURCHASED IT ON THE 17 AND RECIEVED IT ON THE 24th SO THAT MEANS MY WARRENTY WAS GONE BECAUSE I PLACED MY ORDER ON A PARTICULAR DAY - IT WASNT EVEN SHIPPED UNTIL WAY AFTER THAT DATE!

so why did they say i was making it up? it clearly shows they do replace them....

ALSO i have the exact same problem you do now....

my monitor does not work with DVI - i currently am having to use VGA
if the monitor does not work with DVI u will need to send it back.
Please?

i really need some help with this

Hey - Hyundai are really ripping me off here and OCUK arent helping me either - i have sent it back for repair 3 times now and i still have the same problem - all of them have this sort of burning smell coming from the top - does yours have this unusual smell coming out of the top?

nope mine doesn't...

all i can say is contact Hyundai again and explain what is wrong with it then tell them if they don't get it sorted, u will take sue them or something like that.
 
Wow can't believe this was 4 years ago! I am appalled by my typing standards, I do apologise :p To close this thread, OCUK eventually refunded me the money for the monitor :)
