Maybe they'll make a cut down/cheaper version of it in the form of the g17...One can always hope.
Please tell me this is only for this KB and not Logitechs new direction on warranty. The Logitech "oh its broke, we will send a replacement" warranty is a main reason for buying their kit.

To be honest dont look @ the RRP too much.

Does look very very nice, but to expensive, I’m somebody who is happy to spend a decent amount on a nice keyboard but this is going a bit far…
I find the screen on my G15 useful, but I don’t really see the need for a colour one if it pushes up the price like this.

Had my G15 mk1 almost 3 years now and no problems
But lol at $199.99
I like the G35 7.1 headset at $129.99
And the G9x mouse $99!
To be honest unless there's some other major benefits apart from the colour LCD I can't really see it being worth it - you might as well just plug in a secondary monitor and use that (even something out of a skip will be bigger and higher resolution).
I use a G15rev1 (deliberately bought just as the rev2 was coming out, as I wanted the volume dial and blue backlight) and basically just use the panel to monitor my cpu/ram usage. I quite like it but don't really see the need for having a mini colour display in there.
As for the G1-18 macro keys on the left hand side, I literally haven't used them at all.

complete set does look good, the only revision with the G9x mouse is they have upped the DPI.
I do fancy the G35 headset, and the G13 game pad..
But That price for the keyboard is insane and to be honest I don't think I would ever use the LCD screen... purely for showing off!!
