Edit: So the leaked version that came out at xmas has the same sha1 as the iso on the msdn site. Looks like i wont have to redownload \0/

New 181.20 WHQL nvidia drivers are out.

I find the feature in this google vid the best, used to hate on vista having loads of windows open at the bottom and then trying to find the one you wanted, i know that had the feature you could scroll through them but i always found that more trouble than it was worth.

that looks much tidier than vista

the quickpreview in vista is handy, but as you said, it's pretty cluttered

can i just install the 64bit over the 32bit or is it better to do a clean install cheers

Don't think you can upgrade from 32bit to 64bit so you'll need to do a clean install.

Well I've done it. Win 7 x64 as my main OS! Lets see how it goes, everything is working fine so far. Will try to get a beta key tomorrow, then hope I can activate it (didnt enter a key when I installed it)

I'm having problems with motherboard drivers for the Asus P5E-VM HDMI, the installer won't recognise the operating system and i can't update drivers from device manager either.

Installed x64 on a laptop at work (HP 6930p) and the install process was very slick. At the end windows failed to find only 2 device drivers, a lot less than Vista. This new task bar is taking some getting used to but I'm giving it my best shot!

I have installed Windows 7 Beta 1 (7000 Build) everything has went lovely and smooth. EXCEPT Catalyst Control Centre, i cannot get the buggar to install, i have tried countless times, used driver cleaner then tried again and no look, it stops when i get to detecting the video card in the installation process and does no further work from then on.

Does anyone know of a fix?
