Can't really fix that one unfortunately. :(

If it was more recent I could have done something about it.
 
So even when the 285's come out the 280 prices nwont drop?
i find that hard to believe.
Still dont know if i should buy this or wait a couple weeks for a further price drop(if there will be one)
 
I got my card yesterday and am loving it. Upgraded from a 9800gx2 and you can really see the difference.

Every game maxed out and still playable. Although still only managed 40fps with GTAIV but still plays well.

Great buy!

mate, look around! all the 280s will be gone within the next week! there will be none left to perform a price drop on!

yeah i s'pose, will have to make up my mind by tomorow, will have to sit on it for 2-3 weeks if i get though till i get my new comp.
Also will this fit in the antec 900 case?

If all our stock goes within 72 hours and we are £100 cheaper than most of the competition it does not take a genious to work out who has applied a price drop already. :D
 
Im thinknig of snatching one of these up however few questions:

1)Case Size, i have an antec super lanboy and it has literally about 10.5-10.6 inches space from back to hdd bay. thats going to be a hell of a squeeze to put one of these in right?

2)will my motherboard (Abit-P35) restrict the card as it only has pci-e x16 on it? or will it be ok till i upgrade my motherboard when i get a bit more cash?

Mine is 10.5inches long. And I think the card is about the same! :eek:
