HTC HD - you got one? what you think??

Success :D Got the new sprint flip clock working, then made it crystal clear and have made custom backgrounds and also got the S2UL feature now up and running again with custom backgrounds.
Love this phone!
 
got mine a week ago, just chucked tomtom 7 on with a couple maps, seems to be working dandy. TCPMP also whacked on and working fine. HD tweak n all. All the roms on XDA-developers seem flawed ATM it seems so think ill wait a while 'till its sorted.

Still trying to find that program that will vibrate the screen when your texting? so it feels more like a button, like the LG viewty had. cant find the link :(

loving orange free internet 7pm - 7am weekdays and all weekend also :D

also whats the deal with activsync always running? theres not even an option in HD tweak to turn it off. ill shut it in TM, for it only to start again.

now to sell my tytn 2 :( poor thing, done me proud

xda- developers seems to be down ? Plus my order for one from mobiles.co.uk is on hold as they have no stock, even though it still says limited availability on the website :(

i was bit cautious about the HD due to this, but with the many variants of keyboard input you can have, its a doddle :) don't miss the querty on the tytn 2 at all.

nearly went with them myself, glad i didnt now.

beepy seem to have plenty in, £40 cashback with quidco too on contracts. cheapest by far i found them.
 
mine came this morning(I had gone to new job, mum & sister where at home when it came), its currently being charged(been like 3 and a bit hrs, how long should I 1st charge it for?). :)

Cheers for that ! Cancelled my order yesterday with mobiles.co.uk and got one from Beepy instead which apparantly has been delivered already and waiting for me at home !

Got a better deal as well although with Orange rather than 02 on their Panther 40 tariff. 1200 minutes, 500 texts with unlimited downloads for £39.15 pm and equiv half price line rental for 8 months through £160 cash back ! :D

24 months contract though:eek:

Looking forward to having a good play tonight ;)

nice one, i went for the 12 month contract with dolphin 40 (600 mins, 500 txt, free internet 7pm-7am + weekends)

same as you 39.15 a month, phone was £20ish itself, £40 quid cashback through quidco works out about £450 all in for it. not bad i thought.

awesome phone though :D

well I've got the hot fix, hd tweak and batti installed on there now. trying to setup wifi connection but my network is coming up as unavailable, I've set the network name, wpa-psk with key but still no dice. it did come up as available briefly but clicking connect just gave connecting and no further.
 
Just got mine on Orange, no 8gb memory card!! Anyone else had the same.

Its says its supposed to be in the box in the quick start guide.
 
ok so I got it connected through wifi, the problem was I'd entered 1 character wrong of the mac address under mac filtering on the router.

going to have a play with it over the weekend, my 7day dsr ends next tuesday so need to decide over the weekend. tho my 500mb web thing hasn't taken effect yet(will happen when my new 18month contract starts from the 6th), I'll try web browing over 3g/hdspa to see if it works ok on the phone.

going to be installing tomtom 7 on it, hope I get it to work. those that are using tomtom or anyother sat nav program, what holder do you use for it in the car9also is there a car charger for it?)?
 
Just recieved my HD this morning :)

Phone seems awesome,

I read on here that some people on here successfully changed their bolt on from unlimited texts to unlimited internet, But when I phoned O2 they told me that they couldn't do this as I bought it from mobiles.co.uk

How did you guys get it done? I don't fancy paying extra for the addon but the phone is pretty useless when I don't have internet

keep phoning till you get someone who will change it, it takes patience.
