well that was a fun 1hr and half how many people managed to bag a key?

Becasue a few hours turns into a few days when the demand is this high.

not the point, it is still worthless, it is not life or death and no different to any other company.

even calling it two days which it wont be. by early hours the system will be much more responsive. The cost of setting up that for such a short ime frame for such a thing is totally pointless.

I `ve managed to download the ISO file to my hard drive. Please forgive my ignorance, but can someone walk me through how to get the required installation files burnt to a dvd/rw. Thanks!

As if that makes any difference. why set up hundreds of servers for just a few hours.

Not going to say anymore on the subject, other than that, microsoft have huge datacentres set up, just to keep track windows live messenger they would need plenty of servers, that doesn't include hotmail, photosynth windows update service and many, many more.

Maybe they limited the availability for Windows 7 beta so that, understandably, it doesn't interfere with these services
