Whats this check for change thing

It's a Firefox plug-in that alerts the user which alerts the user if a change has been found on the page. It also refreshes the page automatically.

People have reported that the 64-bit keys work with 32-bit installs.

Yes! Got my key finally, bit weird though changed the refresh time on c4c to 3 sec from 5 and got it nearly immediately.
just forwards me to a search page.

Complete Instructions On How To Get A Key
Using firefox install this addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3028
Now navigate to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/default.aspx. Click Log In at the top right corner and log in with your ms passport details.
Now copy the following text:
(do not click the link)
paste this in to the technet tab.
when the busy message comes up highlight the following text:
The site is currently experiencing technical difficulties, please check back in the next business day.
right click that text and in the menu go to check4change click dynamic at the bottom
select custom put 5 seconds in the top box and be sure to check the box for "allow navigation away from this page", it's the last option and it will not be there if you don't select custom.
click OK
now you can repeat this in a few more tabs and then go and do whatever you need to do today

ive had check4change goin for 30mins now and nothing, is there anything i need to sign up for?

You don't have to sign-up, but you do need to sign into your Microsoft / Live Mail account. Make sure you do this before continuing.
no just be patient. took me about an hour this morning with 2 tabs
trying now with check4change

Check4Change worked for me. Opened about 10 new tabs and changed the time to 3 seconds and waited for about 25 minutes before getting lucky. Cheers people
