Lots of people letting their personal feelings clouding the facts of the case here, they won't do anything legally because the CPS knows they will never get a conviction, there is a mountain of case law against them where a mentally disable person has committed a "crime" but did not get a conviction.
Tefal is right that social services will pay them a visit and work up some supervising schedules and even further treatments from specialists, but as far as legally concerned, its over.
