OCZ 2x2gb
PNY 2x2Gb
Geil Value 2x2gb
Kingston 2x2gb

Thanks for the help!

oops sorry :(

None of 'em, cos you're not allowed to post competitors!

For heavy overclocking, you want 1066mhz stuff, 5-5-5-15 ratings.

so is 5,5,5,18 better or worse then 5,5,5,15? Also does it need to be 1000mhz or can i get 800mhz and overclock the memory speed to 1000mhz?

difference between 5-5-5-18 and 5-5-5-15 will not be noticable, what you really want to look fro is the cas latency, the first number.

You could get some pc6400 rated ram but there is no garantee that you will be able to overclock it to 1000mhz and if you could you would have to more than likely loosen the timings to that of if you where to buy pc8500 (1066mhz) rated ram

so really just go for the PC8500 ram, DDR2 is dirt cheap now anyway

EDIT: and what makes you think the ram is restricting your OC, what ram do you currently have?

personnally i would choose either

Geil Black Dragon CLICKY

or

Crucial Ballistix CLICKY

i have 4x1gb ddr2 corsair xms2 @ 800mhz, the reason i think i need different ram is because im using 4 sticks?

I posted here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17962530 and im having problems overclocking past 3.45ghz

Clum said it could be the ram im using? So are 2x2gb sticks better then 4x1gb sticks? Surely i can hit a higher overclock with my setup, see my sig

I dont like that stuff, looks wise lol

oh and yes two sticks of ram are better than four when OC'ing...apparently

but yea that will suffice though no garantee it will give you better clocks, may just be the motherboard being a bad clocker
