Windows 7 beta - 9th January

dont know if anyone has noticed but this is now on the windows 7 homepage

The ISO file(s) have always been freely available since they upped it yesterday. No registration required for that part. It was getting hold of a key that was tricky, at first until you start reading the last few pages of this thread.

Does anyone have the direct download link from MS for the 32 bit iso?

In case anyone else hasn't spotted the following on previous pages...

Official MS download links for Windows 7 Beta...

32bit http://download.microsoft.com/downl...00_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULFRE_EN_DVD.iso

64bit http://download.microsoft.com/downl...0_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULXFRE_EN_DVD.ISO

:)

it wasnt the isos i was posting about, i was posting that the beta application is now back up and you can apply for keys without constant refreshing

After all that fuss, their servers are churning out keys perfectly now on the first try :D As per my earlier posts in this thread, I spent hours with the rest of you yesterday at 8pm, and only got my key around 12 midnight. I just tried again now (for my fiancee, brother and sister obviously) and ended up with six keys in under two minutes, no refreshes required. Oh well.

2 More Keys For You

I'm done with it for now. Just deleted the partition with it installed on. For me to use it MS need to do another year or so of work on it as very buggy in places and really very much a slightly quicker Vista in a reskin. Stupid how they have changed some basic things around again for the sake of it just to satisfy all the Vista haters.

Your welcome to the 2 keys below as they are now no longer required by me:

64 bit:

32 bit:

And so it begins.

I think it is very good atm, very it does seem abit more snaippier and installation of small applications where very quick.

Also another thing, what did people do for graphics card drivers, i just let them through windows update, and also read the same on nvidia website, are these suitable or should be installing the full drivers?
