Not going to happen im afraid, i got a cheap Hama tripod from the big catologue high street chain, it was £30 and it shakes like an epileptic in a strobe light showroom. Only use it indoors at low heights.

Wish id known about this yesterday, i just ordered the tripod deal and the monopod

Look on Ebay for a Slik 88, they made them from 1978 to 2001 and they are very very sturdy with a positive lock system that would take a medium format camera let alone a DSLR. Rather a well made secondhand one than an Argos cheapy.
You can still get the spares for the 88 because it was so popular for so long
