I think I must have gone wrong somewhere with the installation as it's really sslllllooooooooooowwwwww! :(
 
The preview panes are black on mine, I think I need to do the drivers though its nice that it'll do 3d straight off

Also trying to strip back all the excess gloss so its just clear to read. Doesnt seem to work with jkdefrag and for some reason it cant see the boot partition which as its 58gb big is going to be a pain to address.

Also all the old files wont access properly till I rewritten the security permissions on them all

How do you install this??

I d/led the ISO, changed the bios to booting from disk, it said it would loading Windows, up came a blue background screen with white text in the bottom right saying Windows 7 7000 or whatever it says. However nothing else comes up , it just stops there, and the DVD drive goes quiet. The mouse cursor appears and responds, but there is nothing to click.

Will it stop working on the 24th
 
no it's good till august all they are saying is they will let people download it until the 24th instead of only letting 2.5 million download it like they originally planned

It stayed on that screen for ages for me.

leave it and come back later, it cant take sometime, but it will load. :o
 
I got my ISO off a torrent since it was quicker than downloading it from MS. Will I be able to install it on two computers if I use two separate keys?
 
Still cant actually download the bloody thing....

I get to the stage where it tells you the product key and where it says download now - but using safari and firefox (using a mac) it will not for love nor money let me download it.

Going to cry soon... Seriously cry , I click it and it does nothing. Help me OCUK!!!
 
Well, have to say I'm impressed with it so far. Finding nice little touches everywhere I look, and very few annoyances.

One (almost) interesting thing I found - when I last installed XP, it was very fragmented once installed and required a full defragment from O&O to sort it. This install of 7 wasn't very fragmented at all (less than 2%). Dumb luck, or did MS actually fix something? :)

as a lot of people have said at the top of this page (though thats mans pages not woman ones) try internet explorer to download it. :)
 
I'm curious based on some of the questions asked in this thread so far as to how some of you can even remotely believe you will be effective beta testers... oh, sorry, you never intended being a beta tester did you?
