Windows 7 beta - 9th January

I've got my xtreme audio working in win7, using the latest youp-pax drivers. I'm able to use the Creative Console and everything, works fine.

Really ? , i couldn't get mine to work... It says " no device driver found " , i tried in vista compatible mode and the same thing :(

is anyone having trouble with I.E8 as mine worked ok then i put firefox on now it just keeps coming up cant load page but it does it with every link i try but firefox is ok even tried opera and that was ok,im on 64bit,ive sent a feedback to microsoft but its strange as i put it on my laptop with firefox and all is ok

What AV are you using, out of interest? I had similar symptoms with Avira Antivir Premium (as related earlier in the thread). Turned out the web guard was messing up, though this doesn't affect the free version (which doesn't have web guard lol).

I use ClamWin on 64bit and it works ok.

im using kaspersky 2009 antivirus,will try switching it of to see if it comes on
no tried that and stil wont come on,well good job ive got firefox
 
cant for the life of me sort it out,this is what it says

This problem can be caused by a variety of issues, including:

•Internet connectivity has been lost.
•The website is temporarily unavailable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) is not reachable.
•The Domain Name Server (DNS) does not have a listing for the website's domain.
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click Tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section.

For offline users

You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages.
To view subscribed feeds

1.Click the Favorites Center button , click Feeds, and then click the feed you want to view.

To view recently visited webpages (might not work on all pages)

1.Click Tools , and then click Work Offline.
2.Click the Favorites Center button , click History, and then click the page you want to view


but if they was something wrong with my connection firefox and opera wouldnt work would it
 
well my upgrade didnt work. rebooted after expanding files and got a blank screen. seems like a known issue from looking at the technet forums.

cant be bothered to do a clean install
 
Well this actually looks quite decent.
64 bit fresh install everything works & runs very well, especially as I only have 1gb of ram at the moment. Seeing as vista ran like a salted slug on the same hardware with 2 &4gb im very very impressed so far.

Im a commited vista hater but may well turn into a windows 7 lover :)
