Interesting point - Do you reckon, if there was some way of measuring the weight or acceleration that precisely, that the extra paint would make any measurable difference whatsoever?
Doing 0-60 runs would probably be too variable, but for example, I dunno, flooring it from exactly 30 to exactly 70mph in 3rd gear on exactly the same bit of road, or just measuring the weight alone?

I thought for a minute that there was some PC peripheral that gave you a set of dials for racing games, and was desperately convinced that I need it now! How disappointing!

Perhaps might have been better to have left the fuel and temp needles white, so you get the opposite effect as from the speedo and rev counter?
they were posting that in e46 fanatics showing different LED styles - there's 32 or so leds in total to change and the guy did it several times for different colour combos!Oh right, so your fuel and temp gauges are still white with red needles?
