Hiphop fans in here?

Anybody heard the "Boxfresh Presents: A Skillz and Krafty Kuts" Album?

It's probably the best hiphop album i've heard. Wicked mixing and quality tunes.

Tribe called quest all the way to Micheal Jackson and then even an 8 second pendulum cut :p

Shame they put some of the weaker Quest tracks on there.

hi guys, a little while ago someone on here posted a video on youtube of a music video of loads of the best rappers in it. May have featured eminem and royce da 5'9" but can't be sure, they all rapped for like a minute each.

Wild stab in the dark anyone?

Rock City?

For anyone that is interested. (Highly doubt anyone is apart from myself)

So, we've been on the phone with machineshop today regarding the situation. Its starting to look like things may be working out real soon. i've been informed about everything going down on the Warner end of things. The conflict has never been about if they were gonna release the record, it was more about the marketing dollars they were willing to put in to promote it. I've been told that we're getting close to a resolution. I've voiced my opinion on the way things have been handled thus far and i am confident now that things are moving forward in a way the group is happy with. a lot of the problem had to do with communication. Things happening behind the scenes were not being brought to our attention. I know now that Mike Shinoda has been in constant contact with everybody trying to get this worked out, as well as Danny hayes and Rob Mcdermott and Whitney Showler(MSR) We all appreciate your efforts and belief in this album. we're all gonna hopefully get in a room this week at Warner and get to the bottom of this. We must hurry the **** up. the grammy's are coming soon and i still have to decide on my wardrobe. peace-Ryu

Apparently the 818 mixtape is going to be free, hopefully the song doesnt just fade out on it though like it does on the MySpace track.

I like hip hop, but it's the bad ones as I usually like Gangsta rap, pop hip hop, dutch hip hop ( nederhop) and RnB ish stuff etc.

I like stuff such as Snoop dog, Papoose, 50 cent, 2pac, kanye west, busta rhymes, chingy, xzibit, etc...

But it gets boring much faster than other music I listen to, eg. I can listen to a rap song for 20 times I guess total, but for rock songs I can listen 100+ times to the same song...

took me a while to get into the plan b album, as its completely different from anything i usually listen to, but it is fantastic.

at the moment im mostly listening to zion I, hilltop hoods, sweatshop union and dilated peoples. but ive recently found out about "jedi mind tricks" some of their lyrics are a bit iffy, but the beats are good and it sounds good :)

are you kidding me? Seriously?

List me 5 artists with better lyrics and content. Please.

Jeru the Damaja, Anyone from de la soul, anyone from the pharcyde, anyonr from the former J5 collective, Mos Def, Guru, mf doom, speech, krs-one, q-tip, mr.lif, list could go on.

Great selection. I'd add UK artists like Roots Manuva.

Personally I've gone back to the 36 chambers - stuff what the press say about Wu Tang, it's hard to beat for bounce-to-life hip hop.
