not the answer. look at all the other countires around the world that do this..
One could always raise an on line petition on the goverments own website calling for an election. ( rules are that those with the most signatories are put forward for consultation )
Problem is the markets will see this as negative news, and confidence in the UK would plumet.

As things get worse and worse over the coming months (possibly the biggest financial collapse in british history) i really do think that if he insists on staying in power someone will eventually try to assasinate him...hes that bad.
Look what recently happened to the icelandic prime minister...its maybe a sign of things to come.

oh the joys of not having to votie for any party, they are all as bad as each other, Conservatives, Labour - the other one that always comes 3rd, lol - give them more than 2 terms in charge and they will eff it up anyway like always. When the Conservatives get in on next election everyone will cheers, clap and say thank god for that then 8 years down the line they will be wanting the others back in again.

We couldn't compete with China for manufacturing, workers on £5 an hour in the UK compared to £5 a day in China, if anything we will gain more from the recession, go look in China at the failing manufacturing plants, its cheaper to make and ship than it was in this country.

Thank God she did close the mines. Having a load of militant strike monkeys digging up coal that was more expensive and wanting unrealistic pay rises is exactly what we dont want right now. We dont need more state employed people, we need less of them.

It seems only to the most diehard Labour supporters will say anything nice a bout this man.

I was spectating on this forum at the last election and heard people speaking on here about they were going to vote Labour because they wanted a strong economy. oh dear, what went wrong..
