I'm trying to install CS3 on my NC10, but it won't install due to the resolution (600 high instead of the wanted 768)

Any ideas how i can get this installed? It's only for the occaisional work so i realise the screen won't be great for lots of stuff...

This might help, stole it from another forum
A little tutorial. (Fogive my english, i'm spanish, bad public education).

HOW TO: INSTALL CS3 (OSX) ON A MSI WIND, ADVENT 4221 OR MEDION AKOYA WITH INDESIGN AND ILLUSTRATOR

What you need:
- An image disk of CS3.
- Springy 1.4.1 It allows open rar files and edit dmg's quickly.

TEN SHORT STEPS

1- Create a New Folder on Desktop
2- Open CS3's DMG with DiskImageMounter and copy all the content on the new folder.
3- Go to ADOBE CS3 DESIGN PREMIUM folder.
4- GO TO: payloads>adobeindesign5es_ES (your english version must be en_EN instead of es_ES)
5- Open adobeindesign5es_ES.dmg with SPRINGY: Open for modification.
6- Drag Proxy.xml to the Desktop and open it with TextEdit.
7- You will find this at the end:

{"Width":"1024","Height":"768"},"Exclude":{"Width":"800","Height":"600"}}}

8- Change it for:

{"Width":"1024","Height":"600"},"Exclude":{"Width":"800","Height":"400"}}}

9- Save and drag it to SPRINGY into the same place you found it: Replace and Save. Quit Springy.

10- Do the same with Adobeilndesign5es_ES.proxy.xml, (or Adobeilndesign5en_EN.proxy.xml) it's on the same folder that the last dmg file.

You have changed InDesign requirement. Do the same with Illustrator.

And SETUP!!
i know it says it is for osx, but maybe the files are similar?
EDIT: apparently CS4 doesn't check the minimum resolution, maybe upgrade to that.

thanks chief - i'll certainly give it ago - work has CS4 i could install, although not sure how the NC10 will handle it!

I'm using CS4 on the Samsung NC10 and the resolution is not a problem.

I do however have my palettes laid out in a way to not obstruct screen space though.
