Defoe = Mini Cissé
Quick with a powerful shot but **** all else to his game.

Call him what you like. There's no taking away from the fact that he's had more than enough chances to perform and it's only his own fault if he's not in the team from now on![]()
No idea but i will say that he's never played with players as good as he is now. Maybe he can't handle playing at a top club or (like Kewell) he can't handle the pressure of wearing the King's shirt.Is that due to Kenae though or the way Liverpool play?
Keane didn't do too bad anywhere* else he has played
*bar Inter Milan

He didn't do anything at Leeds either.

Apparently Arsenal have agreed a price for Arshavin, now the sticking point is on his wages, bah, you'd think he'd play for free the amount he's moaned about not being able to leave.

a falling Leeds team.........
You get the picture
I compared their records for Spurs since I figured that was the fairest comparison. Defoe has never played for a bigger club, and I'm not going to deny Keane has a bad record for you at the moment. I also included internationals on the basis that at a high level, and with arguably less ability around him than the England (or Liverpool) team, he's been a near-constant success.I prefer the player. More dynamic, faster and younger IIRC than Keane. Keane has had chance after chance after chance this season. Defoe since Portsmouth has impressed me, think he'll do a fantastic job at Spurs, again.
I read an interesting article the other day about how asking for full control of transfers in writing is pretty unworkable and goes beyond what people like Ferguson or Wenger have but what they do have is trust with and from their Chief Executive and the knowledge that if they can strike a deal they absolutely will take the managers word on it.
You don't get the pictureWe had him when we were in our prime, he couldn't even make the first 11!
And you forgot COventry and Inter!
I just get this sinking feeling that Robbie Keane will end up at Newcastle....
