I told them straight up I wasn't going to be buying, but wanted to test drive a Scooby, so I went out with a rep in a WRX and asked about the STI and he said sorry the insurance doesn't cover it.

Dealers get paid for it...must be a bitch having to go out in DC2's and 5's everyday :D
 
You realise that salesmen for dealers work on commission? I am surprised he could be bothered with you at all once you had revealed that!

Meh, I wasn't going to lie to him, I was on my way to a mates and just stopped in...the place was absolutely dead so he just said "sure, lets go"
 
it's usually best not to say anything at all..
remember being at a merc dealer a few years back, as soon as my dad said it would be a lease car, the salesman just walked away. complete ****
