I have never had a char this high. Highest i have is a 57 warrior and another 62 DK.

Just dont really know whats best. I love my minion because hes like a tank for me and i can take on 10 65's at once and dont die.

That's the standard Unholy 2H DPS build, a good one. :)

I'd recommend the build I posted for leveling, it was smooth sailing and you can solo all the elite hunter quests in Nagrand with absolute ease.

You get a ghoul with the build I posted too, it comes in handy just annoying how it takes like 2-3 secs to come out the ground when you dismount.

Just use 0/32/39 DW, it was the best pre-3.0.8 and still is, there is yet to be a WWS report showing otherwise.

People read that there was a nerf to part of it and desperately started looking for an alternative without just seeing whether or not it still works... this even comes down to people claiming build break throughs with ridiculous things such as 0/31/40 or 0/33/38. The only real difference is that +hit makes more of a difference now, so you need to be geared better for it, you could get away with 300-350 pre308 and still be pulling in stupid numbers, now you need to be looking at 450 for it to be in a comfort zone.

Well Night of the Dead is great now so it's worth having that which lead to some modification.

Nothing wrong with them specs at all, if you have a resto shaman in your group you can also drop Imp. Icy Talons. 0/31/40 you can get 2/2 NoTD and 2/3 Crypt Fever that way.

At 425 hit myself, not really by choice though as I have no hit gems, Grim Toll gives me shed loads of hit but was better than my last trinket anyway!

Yeh, im not having the problem with leveling or dieing etc.

Just wondered what the best build was. My guy seems good but i just wanted to make sure what im doing is right?

I might go back to the unholy DPS build but not sure.

I was told Blood is a good DPS spec but theres so many builds i just get confused.

I like my minion but he can go if need be. I currently use a spammable blood or unholy macro and a two handed sword.

with a rotation of these moves in my macro: IT -> PS -> BS -> BS -> IT -> DC -> PS

Well the truth of it is you could spec any tree and be doing good dps... if you want to min/max your way to metre victory though thats another matter.

If you just wanna pull out some big hits, do nice enough dps and have fun - just try each tree and see which one you like the most.

On a Pale Horse is probably the best leveling talent, so go for a build with that in. People underestimate mount speed.
 
Oh wait you're levelling? sorry I seen you link an 80 build and thought you wanted an 80 dps spec xD

Just spec blood tbh, kills mobs fast, heals your face off whilst doing so - perpetual grinding in its truest form, you will never need to bandage or eat all the way to 80.

Thing is Unholy and Blood kill at practically the same rate, you should never go below 90% HP unless aoe'ing large packs, I must have respecced 5 times or so when leveling but I always went back to Unholy for the mount speed.

Death Strike heals for more as Unholy anyway and Bloodworms felt like a waste, mobs don't last long enough to cause damage.

Going to go back to the unholy build. Seems better.
 
You don't have to deathstrike as blood. You can obliterate until your eyes bulge. Vendetta + the odd rune tap is enough to keep you full to the brim whilst grinding, blood worms are a nice bonus if they proc, mark of blood I would only take incase some cheeky nab tries to gank you or tough elites (which I don't think there are any of in the tbc stuff atleast).

Cleaving + pestilence is nice enough AoE for the majority of the mob formations you will be around whilst levelling. The mount speed is nice, but TBC zones are kind of small so you can hold off on it until Northrend content, then its just a case of throwing the 17 points into unholy for it.

But as I said a couple of posts ago, every spec is viable with DK unless your looking at min/maxing end game ... just try a couple and see which one you have more fun with.

I'm levelling in blood, vampiric blood is pure awesomeness just use it everytime you fight, remember to rune tap while its up, insta uber heal. And mark of blood.. well I've done all group quests myself upto 77 in Northrend so far, me and another DK did one 5man quest in Dragonblight, that's been the only thing I couldnt solo so far! Oh and Heart Strike is just... <3
 
Got a guild on Laughing skull Alliance side, called Blackfire, me and a few friends started it the other day. Not bad and its building gradually, got a tabard and a guild vault. Most people in high 40's and quite a few at 60+ and 1 lvl 80 XD We aim to do endgame raids together and our priority is having fun in a relaxing/friendly enviroment.

So if anyone has a char there or wants to re-roll its appreciated, whisper either me (reliic) or alwyne in-game.

I have done in the past.
But its now not worth it, I am awful at making gold, but I'll hold my hands up and say its really easy in the new expansion pack and can be done a number of ways.

I also stole Gold from a Guild bank :eek:
