A day out ratting

lol agreed rainmaker, people are so up on the moral highground these days it makes you think how would they survive without the butcher shop and supermarkets shielding them from how its done.

Wouldn't want to be your kid if you closet them away from nature like this. pathetic

Showing them how a animal kills prey is fine, then showing them the picture of them being ripped apart with blood flying everywhere is a little over the top.

Should i give them grand theft auto 4 to teach them about gun crime and car theft?

I go to gun dog trials with my labrador, there are children there with parents and i have no issues with that.

you mean without tesco deciding what they eat, sucking the goodness out of it, packaging it up and shielding them from how it's done.

I personally think that life is precious :).

I've spent lots of time in the company of people who hunt and been along for the ride, but I can't see the appeal in killing for no reason. If I were killing for food, then fair enough, but I have tesco and a local butcher for that.

Nature doesn't thing life is precious and animals being killed by dogs is a much better way than the majority of us will die.

And holy ironic batman. You think meat in supermarkets is fine, but not hunting. I think you should go on some more hunts then got to a few intensive farms.

Lol, yes because going out of your way to show them a living creature being torn to pieces for fun is fine, whereas saying the f word is an abominable sin.

How is people taking their dogs to rip rats apart nature.

How are crop fields nature?

We have provided vermin with an expanded food supply above their natural equilibrium, so it makes perfect sense to control their numbers to prevent unnatural numbers of vermin in the enviroment.

I have no problem with either, I starred it out, cos I didn't want to get a holifay for quoting someone, not because I care about swearing.

If there is a genuine need for it then no, but if it is just for people enjoyment then yes.

Ok, there is a genuine need for it (due to our altering the enviroment and artifically increasing pest numbers). If it needs doing, is it so wrong that those doing it enjoy it?

With regards to the natural thing, see my earlier comment about my parents terrier. It is a natural instinct for the dog, or at least, it is now, via breeding and genetic instincts.
