Grand Theft Auto 4

32 player game? I've only seen about 32 games and most are empty. Where are all the servers?

Also, how come I can't join a race match until the race is over? I have to wait in spec with no idea how long its been going or how long until its over. Very annoying that you have to find a race game 'in lobby' to be able to play, even more so since there are only around 8 race servers.

From the 30 mins i've played online I haven't crashed yet. Actually my game hasn't crashed at all in the 8 or so hours that i've played it.
 
I always find boat loads of players online :s (Although there all mainly in Player Match and not Ranked). Try checking to see on the Live menu that your ports are "Open" and not "Moderate" (not sure exactly wheres its found but is should be in settings somewhere).

Personally, I got an improvement, I'm not on the latest Nvidias though, think I'm .2 of a definition away :p

Although the 1.0.2.0 patch has apparently been removed from the Rockstar site...So you would have to get it from somewhere else no doubt.

I have it, so I can email it or something if you can't find a source.
 
For ranked I find 6 and display 4 servers. For player games I find 19 and display 17 servers. From the players in each I'd say there's no more than 100 people online right now.

Can anyone confirm this please?

My "NAT type" is set to open if that's what you mean Ogs?

Yeah it is, nothing wrong on your end then :).

For ranked games it only shows the ones you can join, not the ones that have begun (once theyve begun, because there ranked no one else can join). As for player match im not sure.
 
Well i've tried upping my RAM from 2GB to 4GB (well 3.5GB) and it didn't make an ounce of difference. Time to change the CPU to a quad core I reckon.

One reason I haven't upgraded my RAM :p

Although for me to upgrade, I need a new motherboard and RAM, so I'll be passing on that for a while.
 
Has anyone managed to beat the mission "Hate the Haters". For the life of me I cannot get the right distance from Bernie as he runs around the park. He's either stopping and saying I'm too far away, or whingeing I'm too close. Sometimes he says both one after the other with the distance hardly having changed.

I've tried it a dozen times now and just can't get it right. Is it just me having problems?
