Agreed. So many times BoB used exploits to gain advantages over others and not get punished, this is just thier Karma hitting back. Although we will probilly see them re appear under a diffrent name
Your saying hes hypocritical so he is assuming you know which alliance he is in which makes it hypocritical.

Colin, the guy im teamed with is from the US too, hes 8 hours behind so we only realy get to team at weekends but what it does mean is that when we do decide to go the corp route we have a good founding for joint Euro/American one

we can sort something out You criticise BoB for using 'under hand' tactics - notetably espionage. That's fine, that is your entitled opinion. Then you say ‘they got what's coming’. This makes you no better as you are condoning this action as long as it suits your view.
Also for the record it was not a spy, it was a thief, the owner of the account is in Boot Camp with the USMC, if what the thief says is true expect some truly EPIC things appearing on the web and a truly epic war.
You're misinformed; no 'exploits' are used. I can't believe after all this time people still actually believe they cheat.
The tactics BoB use, like warping titans and motherships into a POS to bump out defending ships (which was claimed as an exploit by devs and fixed after a while), and things like having a GM in the corp or gave access to t2 BPOs that were gained by illegitimate methods. All of these things and much more are negative agaisnt bob, and karma has finaly tried to even things up a bit.
Did they or didn't they, is getting biased support from one or more GM's cheating or not, blah blah blah.
This current news is interesting to most and amusing for bystanders and probably 3/4's of EVE, let's put away the tin foil hats and take this at face value for a change

'POS Bowling' was used by BoB until it was classified as an exploit; I was there on TeamSpeak when the order was given not to do it. Of course other Alliances continued to use this tactic, but you share a common foe so best leave that one.
If you’re going to cry fowl at least get your facts in order, it was not a GM it was a Developer. The T2 BPO in question was for a Sabre. He altered the database to give it to his alt, the cooperation knew nothing about this just that they had a T2 BPO and then used it. T20 (the Dev in question) was later found out by log reviewing. He was hauled in front of a disciplinary board, at the same time the higher management of the company was on holiday, this meant matters were not handled how the company would have like to (this was expressed in a press release by CCP). This meant that T20 kept his job and other mistakes were made. BoB was not involved in this other then RKK making the items blissfully unaware of what was going on. The BPO was removed and RKK no longer own it.
Well 'All of these things' no longer applies. Is there anything else you feel is unjust about the Band of Brothers alliance?
BoB are smart, they should have known that something like that would have been classed as an exploit and shouldn't have been doing that in the first place. Also you mention share a common foe? Just so you know, i dont play EVE any more, and when i did i had even battled alongside BoB a few times, In the end i dont see BoB as an enemy, just as a group of people who use questionable tactics and i personaly wouldnt want to be part of any of that.
I thought it was several T2 ammo BPOs as well. Either way, although not directly BoBs fault they still proffited from it, and even when it was made public i never saw BoB do anything to stop it untill offical action was taken.
And i just want to point out that I am not blaiming all of BoB, there are some great players who are fun to play with, But there are also those who ruin it.
Karma may eventully get arround to giving all people who done similar things to BoB what they are due, and there are others who are just as bad as BoB. But right now, its BoB who got what they had comming, and if it was any other alliance who did similar things then i would have proberly said the same thing about them.

I stopped playing eve after i bought a new ship. It was a missle ship, 20 million isk or so. i spent so long saving up for it that when i got it, i was so scared i'd lose it that i stopped playing. Lame eh?
Perhaps i'll build an EvePC and just do some mining whilst playing CSS on the other rig

How should they have known? Why should they be held accountable to higher standards then the rest of EvE?
The answer is, they shouldn't. It was being done to us and there was no word what so ever from CCP for or against. Monkey see, monkey do - can't hold people accountable for how things appear at the time.
'Questionable tactics'? So that is entirely moral and subjective, but you have condoned illegal tactics, good game, next map.
Well why shouldn’t we have profited? We didn't know any different, it was our minerals, our R&D time and our money. Sounds to me that you think they should be punished for purely being BoB over some personal distastes of your own.

Big chages have happened even since I've been gone, looks like there might be some good fights kicking off so I'll be resubbing.
You seem to think i have some sort of hate for BoB or something, and your defending everything they have done so perhaps we should just end this argument, it wont go anywhere. You have your opinion, i have mine.
What has happened though has made me want to start keeping an eye on eve forums again, im curious as to what sort of long term things will happen.
