Have you not got your own cats, hence the catflap? Are they not annoyed at another cat coming in and claiming their furnishings? You need to have words with the resident cats imo.

Buy a water pistol and stand guard waiting......
Cats hate water and a shot in the mush will send it on it's way and it won't hurt it either :)

Its just marking its territory, just wait and shoo it away next time it comes by. I wouldnt bother with a fancy magnetic catflap, i've never got one to work reliably. One other option is to put a mirror just inside the flap facing it. That way when he comes through he'll immediately be confronted by (what he thinks) is another cat and will hopefully **** himself.

Orange peel by the curtains, cats run a mile.

Found a massive turd behind the telly when we moved in here, figured it was the cat (praying it was the cat, prayed hard too - it was a lunker) so left two lots of orange peel there. No more poopy behind the telly.

mate i had the same trouble about 2 years ago - another cat coming in the house peeing on the sofa. Answer for me was to wait one morning with a pint of water (luckily there was apint of water above the cat flap) and then WHAM right on the little gits head - never came back again. Another bonus for me was seeing cat leap about 3 feet in the air - couldn't stop laughing for ages

Cat owners in a village in Fife have said they are too afraid to let their pets out

Good, people shouldn't let their animals roam the streets in the first place, they cause no end of problems.

Cupar vet John Stewart has treated three young cats from Halfields Gardens.

He said: "The anti-freeze is very sweet so that in itself attracts them.

Where did he study vetinary science?
