Indeed, what i'm trying to figure out is if all cars in all classes are crashed into things at the same speed, i think they do but i can't find anything to say otherwise on the site.

How often do cars crash into solid concrete blocks? Not often IMO.

Only once if you do it correctly, however i'm not sure what this has to do with the Ncap since they crash it into a deformable barrier that simulates an offset collion with another car with the barrier absorbing the same force the other car would.

With what authority is it all a load of rubbish?

God, why does everyone no here constantly think they know best? Its not like it is in NCAP interest to produce a poor test, is it? Surely they are trying their best?

While I am sure like literally everything in existance, it has some flaws, I hardly think it can be described as 'pathetic', or 'completely meaningless'.

Why don't you put it to the test and drive into a wall in a Capri if you are so stupid. Second thoughts don't waste such a classic, gangsta car! :)

I'm not on there, but then again there is only one of me, so it is no doubt they haven't crash tested me into a wall yet.

Not sure why I'd want "my" ncap rating anyway ;)

You may not be, but the 325 basically is, and it gets a brilliant one...well, if they 6pots are built the same as the 4pots. :p

In fairness if they put any of my previous cars into those tests they'd probably get minus figures. :p

4 star

However it damages pedestrians in a big way and if i have a crash it looks like i need to move my feet!
