Selling WoW account?

I wanted to be rid of the game and concidering it stole my life and made me a social recluse I dont think £200 was adequate compensation tbh.

compensation.. lol. Man up.. you played the game, you choose to sit at your computer rather than have a social life, it's all your fault.

And before the flames come, I've been there too.

Selling and buying isnt worth it. Not for £50. The hassle is high.

To truly sell you need to make a new email account, transfer it, give away that email account, and they will have to continue to use your real name.

sod it.

with recruit a friend leveling, getting to 60 is MUCH faster now then it has ever been, which makes accounts worth less then they used to be due to less time involved in leveling.

The main problem with account selling is the buyers. The original seller can usually regain the account by telling blizz its been hacked and sending off the required info to get it back, or blizz themselves close the account if it flags up the auto ip checking/ payment checking software they use.

Even changing your own payment details to say that of a friend who will pay for it on his/her card is enough to be suspended and investigated sometimes.

I really don't care about blizzards rules to selling accounts, i played wow for 4 years spent 400+ days on there servers and payed ********* to do so. In my eyes blizzard owned my soul due to my addictive nature so why not make some cash which at the end of the day if you do the math comes down to something like 0.01p an hour depending on how much you sell it for.

I sold my account on Ebay once for 700gpb at the near end of TBC and it was a full sunwell geared warrior. I then stole my account back which i highly highly regret doing but that damn game owns my soul. Works to sell it on ebay so long as u don't mention your account name or character name and just tell the buyer the details.

Way to go admitting on a forum that you stole £700 you should be permabanned.

Thats pretty damned harsh to be honest. I guess you reported the account hacked or something?

Very low thing to do over such a large sum of money also.

as my other thread goes, i want to buy a Aliance level 80 character, although yeh i realy wouldnt go to a site, rather just do it through here or a friend i know.

Agreed, or at the very least some sort of ban should be made to make it so he can never access the members market.

lol, Why the coldness? You have no idea who i am or my reasons for doing so. It was a long time ago anyway and i already said i regreted it, just can't find the guy to give the account back to. You judge me like i'm a theif, which is justified i guess but i blame it on my addiction to the game which i couldn't let go of. Learn to be a bit more respectful of people you have no idea about.

And all that is like what, 10 minutes work ?
Even if it takes an hour, a job that pays 50 quid an hour is superb, it's definitely worth the hassle unless it takes more than 4 hours.

The OP is 17 or 18, 50 quid is a lot of money.

knowing you or not doesnt matter. You stole £700, and whatever the reason thats not the sort of person who should be allowed into the members market forum.

With that £700 you could have got a character from someone else, or made a new account, but you decided to steal back your old character.

You say you regret it, but that doesn't excuse what you did, and trying to blame an addiction to the game to me sounds like you are trying to push the blame onto the game, but it wasn't the game that forced you to steal something.

No need for the lesson on moral. Who are you to judge?

For the record i took the account i spent 400 days playing on 5-6 months after i sold it.

Anyway, Are you such a perfect human that you have never made a mistake in your past that you now regret? Please, tell us a story about your former mistakes so we can judge and offer a moral story and perhaps ban you too.

I have a level 80 paladin on Stormscale with pretty much the best gear in the game and Twilight Vanquisher title.

The e-mail in trust is my msn if you want to discuss

Rostam you thieving swine it was me you stole that character off of and i stole the money to pay you from the fund for my mums leg transplant and now she has to hop everywhere, saves a bit of money on shoes though so its not all bad.
got to say your a bit nieve coming onto a forum with a members market and saying you robbed someone of a WoW account, saying that i once stole a penny chew from the local shop.....
seriously im glad you "took" the account back anyone stoopid enough to buy one for £700 deserves to be robbed, never understood PL or gold buying myself sort of defeats th purpose of owning the game.

*ive had a couple of drinks

they are soon making it legal to transfer characters to different acounts, its all about buisness.

they will make a absolute bomb bringing that in.
