Help please im suck on Mission 04: Withdrawal

Just as you start this part a soilder is already inside the lift but when i run toward him he closes the door and goes up. Now i cant reach him in time so i get trapped ....the explosion then kill me. I tried shooting him at distance (if i get any closer it triggers the solider to go up) .....this is a walkthrough quote

2Though the screen will shake violently, there are no enemies around. Simply head towards the elevator and hail it. Then, get on the elevator and take it above ground to continue with the next leg of our mission"

edit: Be sure to close the lift quick otherwise the flames will have ya. I almost died there. The only time I almost died in the game

Just finnished the game and I think the 1st fear was better.

Also what is it, for the past year we have had nothing but crappy ending's in games and fear 2 was no exception


Also can any one else use the 4th and 5th mouse buttons?

I have had one only. Won't spoil it for you, but it was around the pool area. Rest of the time it's just quick flashes of her. not scary anymore.

You can if you map the keyboard to those buttons through your mouse's software or whatever.

Ive just had a shatting moment, when that crawler pulled me into the operating theatre, then heres me running about trying to kill them, and kicking them off when they dive on me screaming ARGH, GET OFF YER ****.

Me neighbours are probably going wtf.

Im sick of the buggers trying to give me enema's all the time.

Just completed, thought it was a good game, I tried to hold back on the slowmo, found it more fun that way.

But as some people has said, the ending was a bit...meh.

Absoloutely loving this game so far it's a great pray and spray. Having loads of fun with it.

Not sure where the 12GB went though, it didn't feel like a particularly long game?

Why would you want the ending spoiled if you're going to play it?

Just play it through, it's not a particularly long game.
