Not seen this mentioned, just wondering what the generally feeling on here is about This?
Could it encourage folk to go out and buy new/nearly new cars, when the car they are running is worth currently worth under £2000, will it boost the sales of sub-£2k cars, as folk will use them as £2k tradein value when buying new cars.
Personally, im interested in who is paying the £2,000 im fairly sure it will be me and you, as taxpayers, and i dont think this is where my money should be spent if im honest.
