ive had my eye on Raymond Weil for a while now as they do some nice styles, for your sort of price range your gonna be limited to the ones rotty has said. ive always had a soft spot for oris and i have these 2

Rotty- heard/seen anything of invicta watches? They get reasonable reviews and look pretty much exactly like Rolex replicas to me....someone I know just bought a Toy Watch Company watch that looks like a Daytona but in white plastic (yeah I know !!!)

She now wants a Submariner look-a-like without it being a fake, another Toy Watch Company one and anywhere near the cost.

Invicta look like a good candidate...

Invicta are probably ok made for the money, the problem is that they are often seen as replicas without the fake logo

Bought one today

Tried a few on and tried to keep the price reasonable, but in the end went for a Oris Divers Small Second Date. Liked the fit and the design and in the end think it was a good choice for myself.

Yeah it's quite heavy Rotty, but it really did take my fancy and does feel comfortable.

Managed to get the 5 year warranty free, as they wouldn't budge on the price

Probably because they are just cheap enough to be in a lot of peoples price range making them popular, and we all know just how unpopular popular things are with some...

Tag have occasionaly produced some original design concepts but the general production stuff is another matter



they are little more than a marketing company these days, the movements are generic bought in stuff, case manufacture and assembly sub contracted, a lot is done in Asia and they are then packaged in Switzerland allowing them to be called "Swiss Made"

Oh why did you have to say something silly like that. I've promised myself a nice watch when I qualify (in about two and a half years time so quite a while away ) and had decided on a 2 grand omega speedmaster as I though the tags were rubbish for the money.
