Just had my Courtesy Car delivered!

When i smashed the swift up i got a new Corsa SXi as a courtesy car for like 3weeks :( Looked nice and interior is fairly good compared to the rest of the competition. But man it felt soggy as hell to drive. Worst part was this garage didnt even fix my car up proper, there's still a whacking great hole in the front bumper! As if i wasn't gonna see it

Rising Sun performance just down the road gives out a Skyline estate as a courtesy car, the owner says his missus is using it as her daily atm, apparently she cant wait till she changes into a golf diesel :D

I thought it was a BMW lump so the chap at the garage said then again I dont know what rover used for their cars.

And you have the cheek to call me a hairdresser. You're driving around in a woman's car (although I dont know if thats better or worse than Grandad's car) :P

when my 330i went in i had an 52 plate e320 elegance, worst car ive ever driven

Seriously, I have driven some right old horrid cars before, a 211 E320really isnt that bad compared to a LOT of cars!

It wasn't a 211 it was a 210 but even so, rg-tom is known for his exageration :) He owned a 97 2 litre Mondeo and a 210 is better than that.

7 Series isn't exactly meant to be driven like a coupe or sports saloon now :p

better in what respect? The gearbox was REALLY clunky, it had NO feeling at all, it didnt turn without making you feel ill, the engine was really unrefined (it was a cdi), the seats had no support.....i prefer the 97 mondeo for most purposes at least you didnt feel sick driving it! (i was in mid wales whilst i had the car so it was all B roads, not that i was even driving them quickly).

oh yea, and it averaged 20mpg out of a diesel whilst i had it, driving it smoother than when i got 28mpg from the 330i on the same roads a few days later.

Maybe (probably) my example was totally shagged, but the car was horrible in every respect

1. Toyota Aygo - Had to rag it get anywhere and didn't seem to do very well on MPG either. I'd much rather of had a Ford Ka but sadly not.

My mum had that as her courtesy car while her Toyota was getting some work at the dealer, I actually kinda liked it. Was pretty cool on the back roads :P
