Brit Awards

I'm quite glad I gave up watching the Brits a couple of years ago, by the sounds of it I didn't miss much :/

I really don't see what all the fuss is about with this Duffy woman, her voice grates on me, her songs are annoying and her face looks like she's been hit with a spade...

Have to say although I don't like Warwick Avenue, her performance of it last night was something else. Incredible voice the girl's got.
Also, wow. The spade-in-face look is very hot.

LOL Could Tom Jones have got more Moronic saying 'From one welsh person to another' or something like that. Seriously, whenever people say that its so cringeworthy.

I like U2 but Bono is such a pretencious nobber these days.

As for watching the Brits, I dislike the celeb culture in this country and have no intention to watch overrated divas' prancing about.

The song on zane lowe was 'All I need' from the album 'In rainbows'. Listen to the track called 'nude' on that album. Fantastic song.

Does anyone else find themselves cringing every single year at the material the presenters have to use, thought this year was particularly bad.

other cringeworthy moments for me were:

James cordon squaring up to Joe Calzaghe.....just wasnt funny at all.

Estelle and the Ting Tings.....Ting Tings were ok, estelle sounded like Dot cotton after smoking 300 fags.

The pet shop boys....Horrible, just horrible.

Yes.

I thought the two presenters were abysmal. Don't watch Gavin and Stacey and if their show is anyhting like the performance tonight, I never will.

Thought the acts were fairly decent (Except mimers) even though they aren't all my cup of tea. Coldplay and Duffy probably the best for live performance.

Basically "The Brits" is just one giant farce and doesn't reflect musical ability or actual sales/facts. It's just a bit of a popularity contest and a chance for celeb's to make publicity.

Here here!

The Americans have it right with The Grammys but we have it wrong with the Brits.

Whilst we have it right with the BAFTAs and I think the Oscars is a "popularity contest and a chance for celeb's to make publicity".
