Yes, granted but those companies are loaded.

If I started a company that pushed 1GB files to 1/2,000,000 users (directly) it would rack up a lot in bandwidth costs. That was my point :)

Bit Torrent could help this because of the nature of it's distribution technology.

There are legal DRM protected bittorrent implementations too - BBC iplayer being one of them...

Google links to copyright material, shall we sue Google?

Equally, a .torrent is not what most people would call a link. It stores a hash structure of a file, when a client request information from the tracker it gets told about the IPs of other people who have this same hash structure being reported by the client.
At no point is information about the actual files passed via the tracker, tracker only informs people about who else has the same hashes.

He's a dinosaur, a relic of the past. Why some leechers prefer his low bitrate, pixelated garbage over vastly superior HiDef alternatives is a mystery.

Maybe they're from third world countries where unlimited broadband is either nonexistent or prohibitively expensive.

He also does a lot of older movies which "the scene" don't release.

Because he's quick to do so and people who want a quick download without worrying about high quality still appreciate his work.

99% of the people out there will watch a normal DVDRip over a BluRay rip because a) it's quicker to download and b) they're more than likely using free accounts which have small limits.
 
im abig fan of the axxo stuff.

its fairly good quality and a reliable download nothing naff ever comes from him / them.

thats why ill give any axxo stuff a second look plus lots of others do the same so more seeds.
