3rd time lucky,

2 perfs and 2 ultras before seth... 1 ultra on seth, 1 ultra on Gouki, beginning to end without a death, woot, shame seth is a god on anything other than easy xD

Off to finish with gouki now, wonder how many times before this gouken turns up xD
 
n1 Ojste with your noob Ken (sic ;)) - you got a few rounds in that I thought would be mine - pretty much level until I tried stupid players like Fei Long (only know one of his moves :p - could you tell?)...

EDIT: Cant believe Im still up - 24hrs now so Im gonna hit the sack and dream of Chun Li

Im awake and gonna give my thumb a rest - very very sore...

Off to spend money and maybe hunt for a stick - though I expect it will be RRP if anywhere :eek:

Anyone with a stick – have you got the turbo function working?
I’ve followed the instructions, have the unit unlocked and nothing happens.
 
sagat by far has the strongest punches / kicks, i played my friend a couple of times and noticed that, but gave him a few good beats when i chose sagat too to prove my point ;)
 
I've always said if you're struggling with a game have a good nights sleep and then come back to it in the morning and try again, this is no exception. Just won 2 out of 4 ranked matches (in comparison to 0 out of 12 last night), one of which was against a sagat player with just under 400 points, i know that seems like nothing to most of you but it's a big deal to me as i lost plenty of matches to people with 0 points last night. Also I thought abel was near useless against sagat but i gave him a good thrashing.

Is it me or does your SF4 face plate look REALLY red there?
Mine looks nowhere near as vibrant as that!
Could it be over exposure on the camera or something?
 
Btw guys. Another key feature of SF4 is the ability to cancel specials into other specials. I discovered this yesterday in the challenge mode and can easily do a flash into double flash. Looks awesome.

BTW - Sagat doesn't have the strongest punches ;)

The turbo buttons are working fine here for me(te stick).

Hold down the button you want to be used a turbo firstly.
Whilst still holding it down then go and hold down the Turbo Activation Button for a few seconds so the corresponding led lights up.

thats because i am a noob :p i can do basic combos and strings but i dont really understand the game mechanics (not really used to 2d fighters) yet, just wait till i get good :D

currently experiementing with the EX attacks and unlocking characters :D
 
Ended up getting this after my best mate showed an interest, played it single player with him just learning the basic's yesterday for about 4 hours then had some other mates come up but they weren't keen (the kind that don't like anything their not good at and just want to play Pro Evo ALL the time :().

Thumb is sore though as my mate and I had some intense matches, contemplating a stick now but doubt i'll be able to find one on the high street as will need to trade in some games :(
