There is no "win", you took goods from them without paying. The fact you took so long to do it speaks volumes about your moral and/or ethical viewpoints.
Wrong. Asda delivered goods and failed to take payment.

It just makes me angry everytime I go to the supermarket and I feel as though i've been raped at the checkout![]()
Supermarkets are hardly expensive, I mean £2 for a chicken? I don't see how they could be much cheaper really, they already screw every single last penny out of their suppliers so you as the consumer are not the one being raped.
It isnt a scam but when my wife asked them what the original problem was the lady on the other end of the phone said " this wasnt our fault, it was the banks who refused authorisation of the payment" now this got me thinking. I wasnt anywhere near overdrawn at the time and I also have a £500 overdraft so there is no way I didnt have the funds to pay! and if it was refused then why would they send me the shopping? surely if my card payment was refused then any sensible retailer would not hand over the goods![]()
Not always.
Not an Asda story but I shafted "The Man" once.
...
"The Man" doesn't always win but just like a casino or bookies, they win plenty enough.
go on a murderous rampage in ASDA screaming Tesco is better, then shoot yourself in the face next to the veg isle.
Or make it ironic by ending the spree in line at the customer service desk
Yes it was.
Tell them you paid it instore last week and have no idea why it doesn't show on their records or where your reciept has dissapeared to![]()
surely you could say there was a problem that day so i paid cash (if you did spend 76 quid that day that didnt get taken from your account). can they prove you didnt pay cash? i doubt it.
It dosent show up on my statement so I do owe them it but I was just wondering if I ignored them would they chase me for it?
