Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Mate, I'm not interested in tekken and never have been either. This is a classic streetfighter game, you should be able to pick it up and get into it with relative ease if you use to play sf2 back in the day. However, this goes into a lot more depth, if you just try your dragon punch and fireball combo's you will get you backside handed to you by someone half decent :p

But you can practice and improve and it definately feels like a streetfighter game, I highly recommend it! :) The character balance is a bit unfair as Sagat (my fave player) is too powerful and inflicts a lot of damage but I'm not complaining.

I've played 158 games online and won 129, and am currently just over 2100BP.

For online and 2 player action, this game is phenomenal. It's been years since I've played a game this much.
 
Im still rubbish after an hour or two last night!

Stuck it on Easy and got up to Sagat then just couldnt beat him, beat him down to almost KO but his punches are just too hard and he finishes me!

Im no pro but I did hardest with only a small bit of a problem.

Can beat most characters but then get to a point where the opponent has an annoying move which just nukes me.

Be it Chun-Li and her stupid kick move which doesnt seem to be blockable.

Abel and his constant throwing technique.

Just does my head in.

I guess i just need to practice the special combos and spend more time on the game as I cant pull them off with regularity using the pad.

Congrats, did you choose your fights carefully or did you just stick it on arcade and allow ranked challengers? I only ask because of the few matches I had today most were a complete lagfest and nearly impossible to play. I even had to quit one which I never normally do.

Joined games with either orange or yellow bars only. :p

Was Balrog for 9/10 fights I think!
 
i dont think ill ever get 10 wins in a row, not that im not perfectly capable of beating good players but there is no way i will get 10 lag free games in a row :/
 
The lag has been horrendous for me recently, it wouldn't be an issue but a lot of the time the network icon just flashes and never tells me the network quality.

I havnt really had much lag at all, guess its just luck as more than half the time I can never see the network icon either.
 
same for me it i just get the flashing white icon most of the time.... ive only ever seen a 4 bar connection twice in ranked matches, the rest were flashing white bars or 2/3 bar connections >.<
 
The good thing about the lag is that if it happens, both players feel it the same, right? i.e. if must need to keep the game states in sync.
 
I think the matchmaking and netcode aren't that great tbh. If anyone sees me on I'm always up for a game, much rather play you guys than take my chances with the lag lottery.
