Well, i know tons of people with tats. Very popular these days. Especially with students.

Had mine for years. Just got to get the tribal one re-done now to incorporate my daughters name in it somehow!

A friend of a friend went into a tattoo parlour trying to get a ivy tattoo. apparently wanted it from feet to neck (yuck!). anyway, the tattoo guy quoted a certain amount but this guy didnt have all the cash, nevertheless work started. The tattoo guy made a straight line, feet to neck, and drew 2 tiny leaves (2p size apparently) on the guys neck.
"come back when you can pay for the rest". was what he said.

Some advice regarding any tattoo: get it done properly. House mate had a tattoo of a pentagram (don't ask) on her lower back, and its the worst thing I have ever seen!
