Killzone 2 - Enter The Killzone

im really not enjoying sp at the moment, the movement is really annoying me and i was getting motion sickness from it :/

i do realise that they reduced much of the aiming issues in mp when i played it right after and as a result im really loving mp now :D
 
Probably been talked to death already, but rather than wade through all the pages, I was just wondering if the movement "lag" when trying to aim is still there / as much as the demo?
 
Ah right, because in the single player demo I remember tapping say right on the stick and it taking a split second to turn... This kind of thing I know is petty, but it really ruins my gaming experience, because I just know it would frustrate me.

(don't want to come in here saying the game is terrible or whatever, I am just saying to *me* it is something that is I find difficult to deal with and spoils my fun, is all).

Dats all folks... get 360 instead and Halo 3 and GERS 2 if ya ask me... cheaper and better...

I agree, the snipers in particular just felt like complete luck when i finally beat them. The rocket troopers seem to be armed with machine-gun-rocket-launchers in elite too, they just keep coming at you in waves.

Anyone completed this in elite yet? I ask because even on the 4th level it really makes you work to stay alive and i'm wondering whether the final level will even be possible considering how difficult i found it on vet.

Nah, you have to complete it once before elite is unlocked, i completed it first time in veteran (the highest available difficulty when you first play the game). I didn't find vet all that hard until the final level which was pant-wettingly difficult but very, very cool.

I found SP to be thoroughly underwhelming until i took visari square, the game suddenly picked up at that point and kept up what i would rate as some of the best action i've seen in an FPS. Now i've gotten past that point again i still can't believe how much fun i'm having.

I'm on the last level on vet and it is freaking ridiculous! Got so mad playing it last night that I had to leave it! Will go back to it tonight and hopefully I'll manage it. After the maount of stress this game has caused me, there's no way in hell I'll play it on elite! I must remember next time not to play games on the hardest setting! :o

I usually play on the normal settings then decide if i want to play on the harder ones, wouldnt like my enjoyment of a game get ruined due to the difficulty and not knowing what is going on.
 
At the moment i think the game has hit what i would call the perfect level of difficulty. You only die if you do something stupid, use cover and move carefully and you'll be fine. I've actually done better in some sections in elite than i did in veteran due to knowing what i was doing better. Problem is as i say, the final level was just stupidly difficult compared to the rest of the game in veteran, if this trend continues into elite then that's just impossible as far as i'm concerned. I wouldn't even be able to do that with a mouse + keyboard.
